Timeless by Tynque mosaic studio

Located on the northside of Launceston, Tasmania, I offer beginner classes in stained glass mosaic for small groups or private lessons.  Once you have completed a class, you are considered an intermediate mosaicist. My studio is open on select days where you can come along to work on your projects and have access to the studio's array of tools and equipment.

I love working with stained glass, however I also like to incorporate smalti and natural elements into my work.  Some of my artwork is available for purchase and custom commissions are also welcomed.

In 2022, I was elected for the Tasmanian representative for MAANZ (Mosaic Association of Australia & New Zealand) and I'm also member of Soroptimist International. I have strong ties with the community and love to engage people into the creativity of mosaic art.

I have exhibited artwork in the RANT annual Minds do Matter exhibition, Artist in Residence Tasmania Trail 2020, ART Artists of Richmond Tasmania gallery and Lighthouse Regional Arts, George Town.

Bringing people together with art

Art is a fantastic way to bring people together. It provides an opportunity for people to relax, talk, laugh and share. Group creative workshops and projects can be a vehicle for awareness, change, self-expression, confidence building or simply social interaction.
I love to be involved in working with people to have fun and be creative.
I have been working with mosaic for seven years and teaching for three. As well as coordinating the major community project, Mosaic For Afghan Women, I have run a number of smaller workshops with community groups, including Northern Suburbs Community Centre, Northern Mens Shed, Connected Women and She Shed Creative Arts.
If you have a community project in mind, or are part of a group who would like to engage in a creative activity, I would love to hear from you.
